Quantity Surveyor
Location: (Bicester & surrounding areas)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, where your input will directly influence the success of key refurbishment projects. You'll be part of a collaborative culture that values initiative, reliability, and a healthy work life balance.

You'll be working on a variety of planned refurbishment programmes within tenanted social housing, covering works such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades, window and door replacements, and roofing projects. The role involves a balance of office-based tasks, site visits, and remote work, giving you flexibility while staying connected to the core team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track project progress and flag any changes that may affect budget or timelines

  • Work with Contract Managers to understand and deliver against project specifications

  • Process and approve subcontractor payments accurately and on time

  • Support budget control and financial forecasting for ongoing works

  • Submit monthly valuations and applications for payment to the client or their representative

  • Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection

  • Attend internal and external meetings, contributing insight and fostering strong relationships

  • Play a role in procurement, supporting the tendering and estimating process as needed
