Groundworks Supervisor needed in Bicester
Location: Bicester Oxfordshire
Rate: £240 per day
Hours: 7.30 to 5pm
Job Type: Temporary
Duration: 2-4 weeks + initially. Could go on thereafter, TBC
Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Groundworkers and Civils Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join their team in Bicester.
Groundworks Supervisor Key Duties:
Your role will involve:
- Looking after a 3-4 man groundworks gang team completing remedials on a commercial site
- Works include installing new ducting, drainage and finishing works.
- Ensure the site team adheres to the company's working procedures
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Report all Health, Safety, and Environmental accidents and issues
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment ensuring the team wears full PPE, at all times.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc
- Lead on all aspects of health, safety and welfare on site. This includes, but is not limited to risk assessments, method statements, construction phase plans etc.
Groundworks Supervisor Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification
- First Aid
- CSCS Card
- Experience of issuing site based permits (EG - to dig etc)
- Possess a full clean driving licence
- CPCS or NPORS Plant Tickets a benefit
