In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales and Technical Manager to expand existing customer accounts and seize new business opportunities. This position involves national travel, requiring a full and clean UK driving license, and you will enjoy a supportive office environment when not on the road.
While an NVQ-level qualification in engineering, welding, or fabrication is ideal, we highly value relevant work experience and your unique skills. Your proven expertise in technical sales and account management, combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings and simplify complex information for non-technical audiences, will make you an invaluable asset to the team.

Salary from £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, plus a £5000 car allowance and mileage reimbursement.
This is an office-based role, so you must be able to work at my client’s office in Bicester when not travelling.

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and delivering presentations and demonstrations
- Assisting with any product related queries and issues
- New business development with individual sales and team sales targets
- Negotiating prices, and closing sales
- Training and support for non-technical colleagues and customers
Essential requirements:
- NVQ level qualification or work experience in engineering / welding or fabrication
- Proven sales and account management
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good IT skills and exceptional communication skills
