  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (As workload increases, we want to extend our workshop hours by introducing a split shift covering from 6am – 10pm in the future.)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled HGV/LCV Technician with a Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance to join our team. This role is essential for performing high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be efficient, safety-conscious, and committed to excellent customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work Order Interpretation: Review job instructions43,680.00 and liaise with the service team for clarifications.
  • Repair & Servicing: Complete all tasks as per the job card, identifying and reporting any additional faults.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all work and additional requirements on job cards.
  • Timely Execution: Ensure all services and documentation are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations with every task.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest technical information for all dealership brands.
  • Training: Complete all required online training within designated timeframes.
  • Vehicle Care: Handle all vehicles with respect and care.
  • Tool Management: Ensure all special tools are returned after use and report any issues.
  • Company Representation: Uphold the company’s professional image and support its commercial interests.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all legal, company, and procedural requirements.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety policies diligently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnostics and repairs.
  • Proficient in interpreting manufacturer manuals and guides.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Must meet strict deadlines and performance targets.
  • Basic computer literacy for completing job cards and accessing online manuals.
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and stay current with new technologies.
