Automotive Quality & Learning Improvement Coach  Hybrid Working - Home-based with travel to Reading/Leamington Spa twice a week  Salary - Up to £40,000  The Opportunity  A leading Automotive learning provider is seeking an experienced Learning & Quality Improvement Coach to play a key role in maintaining and raising their high teaching standards across their automotive adult education programmes.  This position is ideal for a skilled coach/trainer/IQA who thrives on developing others, driving quality and ensuring that every learner receives exceptional teaching.  In Plain TermsYou’d be the go-to person for making sure teaching is top quality in adult learning programs.Instead of teaching full-time yourself, you’d watch how other trainers teach, give them feedback, help them improve and make sure all lessons meet official standards for accredited qualifications.  What you'll be doing?
  • Observe trainers in the classroom and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
  • Coach and mentor trainers from their first day through to ongoing professional development.
  • Deliver internal training and accredited staff qualifications, such as AET/CET.
  • Ensure all teaching, assessments, and learning materials meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Analyse performance data and learner feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead on standardisation to ensure consistent and fair assessment across the board.
  • Build a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the teaching team.
    What we're looking for?
  • Proven teaching and coaching experience in an Automotive training environment.
  • Demonstrate Automotive Occupational Competence within a Trainer/Coach/Lecturer/IQA position
  • A strong understanding of quality assurance processes for accredited qualifications.
  • Excellent observation, feedback, and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
  • A minimum of a Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
  • An IQA Qualification is desirable. However support can be provided to obtain one.
