Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a reliable and experienced HGV Driver / Loader to join a busy team in Bideford. This role involves operating and assisting with waste and recycling collections, making it an ideal opportunity for drivers with a Class 2 licence who enjoy working as part of a team.
Key Duties
Operate curb-side refuse and recycling collection vehicles across the local area.
Assist with loading and collections as required.
Work collaboratively to deliver an essential public service.
Requirements
Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
Up-to-date CPC qualification.
Good local knowledge of Barnstaple and surrounding areas.
Comfortable manoeuvring large vehicles in tight residential streets.
Previous experience in waste or recycling sector beneficial but not essential.
What We Offer
15.06 per hour.
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
Ongoing temporary assignment with potential for extension.
On-site induction and training provided.
Weekly pay with online payslips.
28 days' paid annual leave (pro-rata for PAYE).
