Mechanical Design Engineer/Draftsman

Murray McIntosh are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer/Draftsman to start work for a key client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:

You will be updating drawing and models to meet new requirements as part of a large design & drawing revision project.

Responsibilities:

• Update 2D drawings from existing Solidworks models
• Refinement of models
• Use of Solidworks CAD package

Skills & experience required:

• Solidworks & PDM - essential
• Experience of 2D drafting and 3D solid models
• Previous mechanical design or drafting experience
• Marine experience would be advantageous

The successful candidate will need to be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
