Senior Support worker

Job Title: Senior Support WorkerLocation: Bideford, DevonSetting: Residential Home (Learning Disabilities & Mental Health)Hours: 35 hours per week, 3-week rolling rota (days and nights)Pay Frequency: Every 28 days (13 pay periods per year)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our residential team in Bideford, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. This role involves providing high-quality care, mentoring junior staff, and promoting independence and wellbeing for all residents.

• Provide person-centred care and support for residents

• Lead shifts and mentor junior staff

• Administer medication and assist with daily activities

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and care standards

• Maintain accurate care records and contribute to care planning

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

• Experience in residential care (learning disabilities/mental health)

• Strong leadership and communication skills
