We are working with a reputable small main contractor that specialises in delivering high-quality residential projects, including both new build and refurbishment schemes. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing and upcoming work.
The Role:
This is a hands-on role, ideal for a QS who can work independently and take ownership of the commercial aspects of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include:
Managing procurement processes and subcontractor packages
Preparing and monitoring cost reports and CVRs
Carrying out valuations, variations, and final accounts
Ensuring accurate cost control and forecasting
Liaising closely with site teams and senior management
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working with a main contractor
Must have residential sector experience
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Able to manage workload independently
Available immediately or on short notice
