Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator / VDA
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex software
- Deliver precise assessments in line with industry standards
- Support efficient repair scheduling and profitability through professional service
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving queries promptly
- Collaborate with workshop teams to meet manufacturer repair specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with industry regulations
- Drive cost control and efficiency aligned with company and manufacturer expectations
Qualifications and Skills for a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator / VDA
- ATA qualified (preferred) or equivalent (NVQ, IMI, SVQ)
- Experience working as a VDA in a busy accident repair or body shop environment
- Strong understanding of repair techniques and current industry standards
- Proficient in using Audatex estimating software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Team player committed to delivering high standards and service
