Salary: up to £50,700 pa / Rate up to £25.00 per hour, plus overtime rate
We are looking for an talented CNC Miller, Programmer Setter Operator to join this established precision sub-contracting engineering company. The role involves programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller to support our clients growing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC milling and demonstrate expertise in utilising advanced machining techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines with a focus on optimal quality and efficiency.
- Utilise Fusion CAD/CAM software for the design and manufacturing process.
- Operate both Haas and Siemens controls effectively.
- Perform complex machining tasks on 5 Axis machines, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce components to exact specifications.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Continuously seek process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Collaborate with team members to problem-solve and innovate in the manufacturing process.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in programming and operating CNC milling machines.
- Proficiency in using Fusion CAD/CAM software.
- Competency with Haas and Siemens machine controls.
- Experience with 5 Axis machining is essential.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
