SENIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Job role and scope
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will work line-side providing essential support to production. You will use your technical knowledge to resolve operational issues and communicate with various departments and customer to aid with the efficient production of assemblies.

Main responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve assembly processes, providing technical expertise and advice
2. Investigate and resolve production issues and queries
3. Sign-off for all production assembly documents
4. Create jigs and fixtures to aid assembly in production
5. Maintain document control on the production floor
6. Ensure customer data is controlled and processed as per ECN, permit and concession processes
7. Communicate with customers to resolve any build issues by email / Teams / phone. Attend on-site meetings for engineering support
8. Implement equipment control calibration and labelling processes
9. Facilitate line set-up for new and existing projects, ensuring efficient

Skills, knowledge & experience

Previous experience with manufacturing machinery in an engineering support role

Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures

Degree / HND / HNC in engineering or equivalent experience
