In this hands-on role, you'll support the Senior Financial Accounting Manager with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. You'll work with complex financial data to ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations, while identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and strengthen controls. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining accurate financial statements and supporting informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end accounting processes, ensuring a timely and accurate close
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reporting packages to Group
Support monthly management reporting and analysis of variances
Help streamline reporting processes using SAP HANA and analytical tools
Support finance projects and statutory reporting obligations
Prepare Corporation Tax Packs and assist with R&D Expenditure Credit (RDEC) claims
Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring key controls are maintained
What We're Looking For
Minimum part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Proven experience working with US GAAP and IFRS in a financial reporting environment
Strong working knowledge of a large ERP system (ideally SAP)
Experience in or exposure to R&D tax claims (RDEC) is desirable
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with high attention to detail
