Are you an experienced Payroller with a keen eye for detail and a passion for working fast-paced environments, to achieve tight deadlines? Reed Accountancy are working with a highly reputable and esteemed organisation here in Teesside, who are looking to recruit a Payroll and Finance Administrator on a part-time, permanent basis. Working 24 hours per week, paying £12.21 - £13.21 per hour.You’ll support the Finance team by helping with payroll and keeping the time & attendance system up to date. You’ll also take care of general admin tasks, help process financial data, and assist with daily cash banking.Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll paperwork like holiday requests, new starters, and leavers.
  • Keep the time & attendance system accurate and up to date.
  • Share and track weekly payroll hours, making any needed changes.
  • Prepare and send documents for new employees.
  • Help with daily cash banking across different parts of the business.
  • Support the finance team with regular tasks based on their schedule.
  • Work closely with other teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with previous experience working with high volumes of data within a finance role, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, and with high levels of accuracy, accountability and attention to detail. Experience working in the construction and knowledge of CIS and IR35 is desirable although not essential.If this role sounds right for you, please apply.
