Sales Ledger and Credit Controller / Billingshurst / Accounting & Finance

Client Details

A well established but growing organisation based in the Billingshurst area are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger and Credit Controller for a fixed term maternity cover contract lasting circa 12 months.

Description

As Sales Ledger and Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Invoicing daily for any sales orders that have been dispatched
  • Reconcile bank statement and post customer payments
  • Maintaining the customer details and making changes as required
  • Carrying out credit checks on new and existing customers as required
  • Dealing with customer queries and investigating claims and disputes with customers and resolving or elevating as required.
  • Chasing customers for payment of debts as they fall due.
  • Make sure customers stay within their credit limit and request payments when necessary.
  • Reconciling your sales ledger on a monthly basis

Profile

  • Credit control and sales ledger experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel to intermediate/high level)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical approach & problem solver
  • Numeracy skills & attention to detail essential

Job Offer

£29-30,000

35 hour week, 3 days in office and 2 days WFH, Parking
