Summary

Working as part of the Finance team to ensure day-to-day customer requirements are fully met, working with specified customers in an account management role. Contract Management and Profitability of projects through accurately executed contracts and cost tracking. This position will require a level of travel to meet with customers so a driving licence is essential as well as a need for overnight stays on a regular basis. Petroassist have offices in Loanhead, and Flamstead. The ideal candidate will be based in either of these areas:

-Contract Management

-Accounting and Finance knowledge (understanding of accounting terminology)

-Excellent Excel proficiency (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, PowerBI, etc)

-Project Management and Project Work Understanding

Position Responsibilities

-Management of key accounts, responsible for managing customer SLA issues and reporting

-Project and commercially manage multiple projects from receipt of award until final account, assuming responsibility for delivery of the expected GM % rate

-Populate and update commercial documents including profitability overview, revenue/cost/margin forecasts (monthly)

-With the assistance of Finance Team review and track cashflows and budget trackers for cost spend (monthly)

-Populate monthly business review file (MBR), explain forecasting updates with senior management and tracking each month actuals to commitment and update on the variances

-Understand contract requirements (per project) on contractual milestone payments, revenue recognition, ensuring compliance and with the aim to ensure maximum potential is realised

-Build positive relationship with customers to improve opportunities of repeat business and additional scopes

-Raise, submit and agree variance orders in accordance with the contract

-Understand AR position on projects; commercially responsible for support the maintenance of accounts receivable resolving any disputes in a timely manner, handling negotiation to resolve payment in line with terms

-Undertake detailed formal project reviews monthly to understand and explain profitability compared to bid and forecast, to seek out opportunities/risks but also provide feedback to project delivery and proposals teams to take decisive action to mitigate any overspend/provide accurate pricing

-Support in the provision of financial evidence for internal or external audits as and when required

-Successfully prepare and present customer presentations & performance reports

-Work with service managers to maximize revenue opportunities on key accounts, this may involve developing equipment dilapidation lists of customers assets.

-Ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions

-Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation, ensuring contract close-out, extension or renewal

-Handle on-going issue and change management

-Background in Financial Analysis

-A qualification in a Business Administration, Management, or related field would be an advantage.
