The Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our skilled team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone confident in programming, setting, and operating CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls, and ready to take on technical challenges in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme, set and operate CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls
- Edit Fanuc programs using G codes as required
- Learn and apply online Fanuc programming techniques
- Set machine and tooling configurations without probes
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Monitor machinery performance and report faults
- Maintain coolant levels and ensure machine readiness

The Ideal Candidate:
You'll be a proactive team player with a background in the fastener industry and experience working with exotic materials. You will hold relevant CNC programming qualifications or have at least 5 years' experience in a similar precision engineering role.
- Proven CNC programming, setting and operating experience
- Skilled in Fanuc control systems and G code programming
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances
- Experience in fastener production or working with exotic alloys is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy
- Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
