Contek are working with a precision CNC Engineering client in Wolverhampton, who successfullysupplyprototypes to small batch production toan impressive range of industries including; Aerospace, Oil, Electronics & Medical.
Through growth they are looking for the following:
- CNC Turner - Setter/Operator - Mazatrol controls
- CNC Sliding Head Turner - Setter/Operator - Star or Citizen
Shift:
One week of: Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-11am
One week of: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 11am-4pm
Basic pay up to 18p/h plus 15% shift allowance.
You will be:
- Carrying out low and high volume runs with tight tolerances.
- Setting & operating turning machines, which can be running different materials in each.
- Editing/testing new programs for new products.
- Utilizing Mazak smooth lathe machinery.
- Reading of engineering drawings.
- Working in a fast paced sub-contract manufacturing environment.
What do you need for this role?
- You need previous experience setting & operating CNC turning machines (essential)
- Previous experience turning metals including: Aerospace Alloys, Engineering Plastics, Titaniums, Beryllium Copper and other exotic materials
- Experience setting, operating and editing with Mazatrol controls OR Star/Citizen machinery.
