Blending Operator | Birkenhead, Wirral | Full Time | Competitive Salary

Our client is a privately-owned company specialising in the production and supply of household laundry and cleaning products.  They supply a number of national and international customers with their own brand of laundry and cleaning products.

They have laboratory, blending, and packing facilities at their Birkenhead premises to produce household, laundry, and cleaning products. They develop, scale up, and produce all formulations in-house.

Their team develops formulations to match briefs from customers, which are then blended and packaged at their manufacturing facilities in Birkenhead.

They are currently seeking a full-time Blending Operators to join their expanding team at the production site.

Working Hours:
Shift-based, rotating weekly:

  • Week 1: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm (Saturday only when needed)
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience in handling and blending chemicals
  • Experience working in a production environment
  • Supervision of personnel would be advantageous
  • Forklift license would be advantageous

What will your role look like?

  • Weighing and measuring chemicals
  • Blending chemicals in mixing tanks
  • Checking of blended products to be within set specifications
  • Maintaining accurate production records
  • Following instructions and maintaining attention to detail
  • Complying with health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring operating procedures are followed
  • Reporting to the Blending Supervisor and Operations Manager
