About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Financial Accountant to support our Finance team during a period of continued growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of key month-end processes, support statutory reporting, and help ensure financial compliance across the group.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in audit, who is part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA), and ready to make the move into industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end close, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
Maintain strong internal controls and help streamline existing processes
Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making
Assist in the preparation of tax and regulatory filings
Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to drive continuous improvement

About You:

Part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (actively studying)
1-3 years of experience in audit (practice background essential)
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Excellent Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills - able to work across teams and present financial data clearly
Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
