We are seeking a keen Financial Controller to manage the company's financial health by administering accounting operations and drive efficiencies through the business. The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing and be familiar with cashflow management, audits, budget preparations, and managing accounting activities

Description

  • Developing financial strategies, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.
  • Management of 2 individuals
  • Regular budget consolidation
  • Cash flow management
  • Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Payroll processing
  • Business partnering with the management team and Directors share reports and analysis findings drive positive changes to ERP and stock management.
  • Management accounting including analysis and reporting.
  • Preparation of month end financials to a tight reporting timetable.
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
  • Monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliation review.
  • Manage external and internal audits.
  • Cashflow forecasting and tracking.
  • Support ad hoc projects - To improve processes, systems, and efficiencies throughout our company operations.

Profile

  • Relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with c3 years PQE experience
  • Background in Manufacturing
  • Good communication skills and the ability to listen.
  • High level of computer literacy, IT skills and Advanced excel skills.
  • Experience in ERP and stock
  • Commercial background and approach
  • Strong data analytical skills with a good attention to accuracy
  • Confident and resilient nature
  • Continuous improvement approach to systems
  • Ability to work in a team with other senior staff members from different departments.
  • High level of energy, drive, and personal commitment to achieve success.
