Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)Salary: Up to £50,000

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a real impact? We are on the lookout for a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding operational leaders with insightful financial analysis and strategic decision-making support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Generate precise monthly financial reports in a timely manner, including necessary adjustments for accruals and prepayments.
  • Variance Tracking: Analyse monthly discrepancies, providing detailed reports and forecasts while collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment.
  • Performance Insights: Deliver monthly presentations on financial outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all financial communications.
  • Budget Management: Facilitate monthly review sessions with department heads, acting as the primary resource for budget oversight and grant management.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert financial advice and identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and performance.
  • Budget Development: Spearhead the annual budgeting process in partnership with operational leaders, particularly for programs funded by external donors.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Relevant financial qualification (such as ACCA/ACA/CCAB/CIMA) with a commitment to continuous professional growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance Business Partner role.
  • Proven track record in managing and monitoring budgets across multiple sites.
  • Familiarity with financial systems
  • Strong understanding of current accounting standards.
  • Proficient in handling large datasets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
