Trinity House Group are exclusively working with a high growth client in the Midlands for a Regional Financial Controller.

This is more than a traditional financial controller role. We’re looking for a commercially-minded finance leader who thrives on autonomy, has a sharp eye for detail, and can partner with operational leaders across the UK.

You’ll own the financial performance of multiple regions, working with senior stakeholders to drive profitability, challenge assumptions, and enable growth. Your input will directly shape regional performance and strategic decision-making.

Role;

  • Full P&L responsibility across UK regional sites - owning results and driving performance.
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional MDs/Operational leaders.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modelling.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.
  • Influence commercial decisions, investments, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and develop a small regional finance team.
  • Travel across the UK to build meaningful relationships and truly understand the business on the ground.

Person;

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience.
  • A track record in regional/multi-site finance leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience of owning a P&L and influencing commercial outcomes.
  • Confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders and providing financial challenge/support.
  • Comfortable balancing strategy and operations
  • Willingness to travel across the UK (c.20-30%).
