Description
- Process and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Ensure all accounting entries align with relevant regulations and standards.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance team.
Profile
A successful Transactional Accountant should have:
- Experience working in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the life science industry.
- A strong understanding of transactional accounting practices and principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and structured environment.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
