Part-Time Accounts Assistant – Birmingham City Centre
£30,000 – £35,000 FTE
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team in the heart of Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a real impact in a close-knit business environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing day-to-day transactional finance tasks, including purchase and sales ledger
- Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Solid all-round transactional finance experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
- Available to work 3 days per week in the Birmingham City Centre office
