OverviewMitchell Adam is currently working with a well-established, national Property business based in the city centre to recruit an Assistant Accountant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who's looking to build their experience in a stable, supportive environment.

You'll be joining a respected finance team in a business known for its specialist products and strong reputation. Supporting the Accounts team, you'll get involved in a wide range of tasks across month end management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis, great for a studier looking for exposure to grow. Your main duties will include helping with monthly accounts preparation, including accruals, prepayments, and journals, reconciling balance sheets and the clients funds and liaising with clients directly to deliver this information.

Skills Needed

  • Be studying ACCA/CIMA and have a fundamental understanding of double entry bookkeeping.

  • Prior experience preparing accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • A willingness to learn and build your skills in a hands-on environment.

  • Good Excel skills (pivot tables and basic data analysis).
