About the Role:Hays is currently recruiting a Project Support Officer for a local council, offering a competitive rate of £300-£350 per day with a hybrid work pattern. This role is integral to providing essential support to the Commissioning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Programme team, including the Programme Lead, Commissioning Manager, Communication Officer, and Workstream Leads.* Support in the co-ordination of large-scale, complex projects with significant risk.* Utilise specialist knowledge and best practice service improvement tools and techniques.* Manage performance and project planning while fostering collaborative relationships.

Ideal Candidate:

* Highly organised with a strong background in local government.* Familiar with working in politically sensitive environments.* Experienced in data input and reporting, as well as reviewing and analysing provider returns.* Driven to deliver successful transformation and improve outcomes for children and families.* Ability to co-ordinate multiple different workstreams and stakeholders.What you need to do now
