Year 4 Teacher
Location: Washwood Heath, Birmingham, B8
Pay Rate: 155 - 230 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term with the potential to become permanent

Long Term Futures are working with a supportive primary school in Washwood Heath (B8) who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from 3rd November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role within a welcoming school community, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Track pupil progress and contribute to assessments and reports
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their potential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
