Keen to make a real impact at the early stages of psychosis?Hunter Mental Health is working with a dedicated Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service in the Birmingham area who are looking for a Band 6 CPN to join their supportive community team.

  • Role: Band 6 CPN – Early Intervention in Psychosis

  • Location: Birmingham area

  • Contract: 3-month initial contract (with likely extension)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Hourly Rate: £26 per hour (umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Managing a caseload of service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis

  • Delivering evidence-based interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Providing care coordination under CPA framework

  • Carrying out risk assessments, developing care plans, and supporting recovery goals

  • Building therapeutic relationships with service users and their families

Requirements:
  • NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse

  • Experience working within EIP or psychosis-focused services preferred

  • Strong assessment, planning and documentation skills

  • Car driver with access to a vehicle preferred

Working Hours & Contract:
  • Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

  • 3-month contract initially

  • Full-time preferred (part-time may be considered)
