With more than two decades of industry experience, their commitment to independent catering is unmatched. 

We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager focusing on building strong, lasting relationships with members to ensure they fully engage with our benefits and services. This role is crucial for driving retention, identifying added value opportunities, and acting as a trusted advisor, directly contributing to member satisfaction, revenue growth, and the long-term success of our membership team.

Salary: £30,000 per annum, with bonus (up to 20% salary – based on targets set)

Hybrid working: 2 days from home a week

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage day-to-day communication with assigned members, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members through regular interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all member interactions in CRM systems.
  • Proactively drive membership renewals and work on strategies to increase retention rates.
  • Handle enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure swift resolutions.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive additional sales.
  • Support outbound call campaigns to encourage renewals and promote the benefits of membership.
  • Monitor member engagement levels, benefit usage, and satisfaction to identify at-risk accounts early and implement appropriate retention strategies.
  • Perform membership account handling duties and provide short-term cover for absent employees as required.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by Senior Leaders, commensurate with the salary level of the post.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to relate to diverse individuals.
  • Proven experience in sales, with skills in upselling, cross-selling, and retention.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, capable of handling rejection and high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with effective planning and negotiation skills.
  • Technical proficiency, particularly in IT and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Deep understanding of client care, customer service, and growth strategies.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and highly motivated with a positive outlook and a polite, friendly, and diplomatic interpersonal approach.
  • Committed to continuous learning, development, and sharing best practices.
