Key Responsibilities of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer (LAE B2 737 - E7 Wedgetail) Role:

  • Supervise a team of skilled avionics technicians, ensuring detailed inspections are carried out to the highest standards
  • Coordinate tasks and contribute to the smooth execution of the production and modification program
  • Serve as a key point of contact for all avionics-related aspects of the program, collaborating closely with the Avionics Lead SME
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior avionics personnel, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency


Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • CAA/EASA Part 66 B2 License
  • Type rated on Boeing 737NG with a minimum of 10 years of aircraft experience
  • Previous modification experience and excellent knowledge of avionics systems
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Eligible to work and live in the UK, with the ability to obtain UK security clearance
