Are you a skilled engineer who thrives in hands-on roles? Do you enjoy working independently, solving technical problems, and supporting a diverse customer base? A well-established global manufacturer of high-precision measurement equipment is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their UK service team.
This field-based role focuses on customers across the Midlands, with occasional travel further afield and some overnight stays. Reporting to a central service centre, you'll play a key role in ensuring excellent on-site service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
" Install precision measuring equipment at customer sites
" Perform servicing, repairs, and calibrations to maintain performance standards
" Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions on mechanical/electrical systems
" Accurately complete service documentation and reports
" Deliver technical advice and maintain strong client relationships

Required Skills & Experience:
" HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Engineering, or relevant hands-on experience
" Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
" Good communication and organisational skills
" IT literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office)
" Full UK driving licence
" Experience with fault-finding on mechanical/electrical systems
" Proven ability to manage time independently
" Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
