Responsibilities and Duties
As the Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the running of the depot. You will be trained to manage the service, maintenance, and repair operations, ensuring that all equipment is ready and meets the highest safety standards. You will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused service delivery.
To start, you will play the part of a Foreman, with a more hands on role, helping out with repairs to forklifts, until moving into the Service Manager position which will be a more office based role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
- High standards, flexibility, and attention to detail
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in motor vehicle, HGV or heavy plant
- Experience as Forklift Engineer/Forklift Mechanic/Service Engineer (in the materials handling sector)
