Job Title: Internal Technical Engineer

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
As an Internal Technical Engineer, you'll be a key technical resource for customers, sales teams, and internal departments. This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert technical support using your engineering and manufacturing knowledge
- Preparing accurate quotations for bespoke tooling solutions
- Investigating and resolving cutting tool performance issues
- Collaborating with overseas technical teams on tooling projects and development
- Communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Working closely with sales teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Delivering internal training and keeping up to date with product innovations
About You
- Strong technical background in machining, cutting tools, or manufacturing processes (essential)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CAD or SolidWorks experience is an advantage
