Are you a Design Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to work for a global market leader in Bespoke Purpose Machinery where you will be the go-too engineer responsible for innovating the global food packaging market.
On Offer is the opportunity to join a global leader in the design and manufacture of the bespoke manufacturing equipment. The company operate globally and have 4,000 people 750 of those in the UK. The company turnover $1billion annually and are looking to expand their team to maintain market share and continue to establish their successful brand in the industry.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of the design innovation, leading the design of state-of-the-art weighing, packing, and inspection solutions for some of the biggest names in the food industry, conduct detailed engineering calculations independently, providing practical insights into performance. You will take ownership of large-scale international projects from concept to manufacture, complying with diverse regulatory standards and work cross-functionally throughout the business collaborating with different teams to ensure flawless execution.
The role would suit a Design Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to join the market leader in their industry with the ability to take unrivalled ownership of your own design projects along with excellent company benefits.
THE ROLE:
- Plan, manage and design projects from concept to completion
- Work closely with production, quality, electrical, aftersales departments to ensure the alignment of design efforts
- Providing technical support to the design team
- Hybrid work with 3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week at home
THE PERSON:
- Design Engineer or similar with a manufacturing background
- Proficient use of SolidWorks
- Experience working with special purpose machinery
