Remediation Engineer - Nationwide (Site Based)

An established environmental contractor is looking to recruit a Remediation Engineer to support the delivery of remediation and environmental projects across the UK.

This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys working in the field, collecting environmental data and supporting project teams with technical delivery. You will work closely with senior technical staff and site managers, contributing to both practical site work and office-based reporting.

The Role:

  • Operating and maintaining field equipment for environmental sampling
  • Logging soils and recording site observations
  • Collecting, collating and reporting technical site data
  • Supporting remediation and site activities under environmental permits
  • Liaising with site visitors, regulators and other stakeholders
  • Assisting with procurement of technical equipment and consumables
  • Supporting project and site managers with on-site activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in remediation or related fieldwork
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of environmental site operations and H&S
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally

Desirable:

  • Degree or relevant academic qualification
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • CSCS Card
