The Role
My client is hiring a Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Bridges and Civil Structures within the UK industry. This is a permanent position based in their Birmingham office, offering a hybrid work setup. The role will involve supporting their bridge projects as their workload continues to grow.

Responsibilities of The Role
- Undertake and supervise design and assessment for bridges and civil structures in rail and road environments.
- Conduct structural analysis for various bridge types using appropriate software.
- Collaborate closely with team members to design and assess bridges in compliance with codes and standards, developing practical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers in the team.
- Support business promotion, bidding, and work-winning efforts.
- Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and technical expertise in structural analysis using engineering software.
Requirements of The Role
- Hold a BSc, BEng, or MSc degree in Civil Engineering.
- Possess proficiency in using analytical software packages.
- Demonstrate practical experience in designing and assessing bridges with a pragmatic approach
