Ready to make a move to a leading consultancy who deliver some of the most prestigious and exciting schemes across the world? Our client is a prominent name in engineering, with offices throughout the UK and abroad. Their Birmingham building structures team has a great opportunity for a structural engineer who has 2-4 years' post graduate experience working for a UK firm.
Projects include refurbishment and repurposing of schemes such as retail developments, residential and commercial.
The successful Structural Design Engineer will be gaining exposure to a range of iconic projects, undertaking the structural design & calculations, checking drawings & proposing ideas from a structural perspective and liaising with other disciplines.
Ideally you will possess the following:
- Degree in civil/structural engineering
- Proficient in relevant software such as Tedds, Robot and MasterSeries
- Ability to produce calculations and specifications, as well as tender and contract documents
- Finite Element Analysis experience
