About the Role

My client are  seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to lead thier growth strategy in the SaaS space. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue across thier software solutions. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS or tech solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the software sales cycle and consultative selling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Based in or willing to commute to Birmingham regularly.

Desirable

  • Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Knowledge of verticals such as HR tech, fintech, or martech.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
