Join our fabulous client's team as a Bookkeeper and play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial functions. This position is essential for managing financial data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and efficiently handling payroll and timesheet reconciliation. Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Produce timely monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and manage costs

Payroll Management

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing using IRIS Payroll Professional software, including handling pensions and statutory deductions.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal teams and relevant authorities.

Timesheet Reconciliation

  • Reconcile monthly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Work with HR and department managers to validate timesheet data.
  • Align timesheet data with payroll for effective billing and cost tracking.

Day-to-Day Finance Operations

  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and reconcile bank accounts monthly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a senior finance role.
  • Proficient with financial software like SAGE, CCH Practice Management, IRIS Payroll Professional, Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel.
