- Manage customer quality reporting, metrics, and portal updates
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve quality concerns (including 8D reporting)
- Handle customer returns (0km and warranty), including investigation and close-out
- Create and update production control plans and related documentation
- Compile, submit, and gain approval of PPAPs for new and modified products
- Perform product/process audits in line with the IATF audit schedule
- Support product and process modifications, ensuring documentation compliance
- Work with Engineering and other departments to analyse returns and implement improvements
- Support customer visits on-site and off-site (UK and international travel may be required)
- Assist with third-party audits and business system compliance
- " Collaborate with and support other Quality Engineers in day-to-day activities
- Strong understanding of 8D concern resolution and the 5 Core Tools
- Hands-on approach to quality issues and improvements
- Experience working within an IATF16949-certified environment
- Background in manufacturing (ideally machining, assembly, and testing)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating at all levels
- Willingness to travel when required (UK and overseas)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Minitab
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
