Telesales Executive - Great Barr - £23k - £26k + commission and benefits
Job Purpose
Your role in Telesales will require you to contribute to generating sales for the Company by contacting potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to understand the potential customers’ requirements in a short period of time and present solutions that would meet their needs. Therefore, you must be comfortable in presenting our products and services over the telephone and must be able to remain patient and calm when dealing with complaints or doubts.
An exceptional Telesales Representative must be well spoken, have excellent communication and have an excellent sales ability.
Duties include:
- Initiate sales with potential customers over the telephone
- Build strong and long-lasting customer relationships
- Understand and fulfil customer requirements
- Gathering and documenting potential customers’ information, payment methods, purchases and reactions to our products
- Remain up to date and knowledgeable on Company products and processes
- Proactively engage with potential customers to develop new business and identify areas of improvement
- Upsell our new products and services
- Direct prospects to the sales team when required
- Answer potential customers’ queries accurately
- Deal with any complaints or grievances and safeguard the Company’s reputation
- Keep accurate records and prepare internal reports and provide these to the Directors
- Collaborate with team members to ensure we are providing the best client experience.
Within your role, you will be required to develop a deep understanding of customer requests and demands to ensure that you are professional and achieve your sales quotas or targets.
You may be provided with training, internally and externally, throughout your employment. As your department expands you will be required to provide additional support and mentoring as and when necessary.
