£16.00 PER HOUR MONDAY TO FRIDAY
£18.50 PER SATURDAYS
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in HANDSWORTH, WEST MIDLANDS.

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- RDC or customer deliveries which will include hand-balling, (Driver mates provided)
- Operating and driving various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
- Completing any paperwork
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial
Training
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
