Mainstay Recruitment are seeking a HGV Class 2 driver for our client in Minworth, Birmingham.
The role involves delivery of appliances to depots across the England. Starting at 04:00, the driver would be expected to assist warehouse staff in the loading of the vehicle, then carrying out 1 - 2 drops, using a tail-lift and a trolley. This is definitely more of a lifestyle job, with shifts usually lasting 8-10 hours, perfect for drivers who prefer to be at home for the afternoon/evening time.
The ideal candidate has 2 years experience as a HGV driver, and would demonstrate a willingness to chip in with other roles to help the company run as smoothly as possible.
Pay rate for first 12 weeks - 14.00 per hour PAYE (OR, 15.50 per hour including holiday pay)
Pay rate after 12 weeks (when full time) - 14.50 per hour
