Job Summary
We are seeking x2 skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with hand tools. The Joiner will be responsible for producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

• Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
• Carry out painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
• Perform roof installations and repairs as required.
• Execute masonry work when necessary, ensuring structural integrity.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Conduct plumb checks to ensure all installations are level and secure.
• Engage in heavy lifting as needed during the assembly and installation processes.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, carpentry skills, and building regulations.
• Familiarity with masonry work is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
• A proactive approach to safety practices on-site.
