We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Deputy Chef Manager to support the running of a busy school kitchen in the B7 area. The successful candidate will assist the Chef Manager in leading the team, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service.
Candidate Must have A Enhanced DBS
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chef Manager with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Assist in the supervision and training of kitchen staff.
- Take responsibility for kitchen operations when the Chef Manager is absent.
- Help oversee stock control, ordering supplies, and managing deliveries.
- Assist with menu preparation, cooking, and baking.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed, including cleaning schedules, temperature checks, and risk assessments.
- Engage with pupils in a positive and friendly manner.

- Location: Birmingham (B7)
- Pay Rate: 15.16 an hour (includes your holiday pay)
- Contract: Term Time + 2 Weeks
