Polymer Chemist - Chemical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturer  - West Midlands.About the company Our client is a speciality chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturer based in the West Midlands who are looking for a Polymer & Formulation Chemist. This is an exciting role with a long-established, innovative chemical manufacturer with a proud history and a strong future. You'll work on the synthesis, testing, and development of novel rubber accelerators and polymer compounds for global markets. Polymer Chemist - Requirements  
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Applied Chemistry, Elastomer Technology, or related field.
  • Laboratory experience (rubber/polymer knowledge an advantage, but not essential).
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A hands-on, problem-solving approach with a genuine passion for materials science. 
Polymer Chemist - Responsibilities  
  • Synthesise novel rubber accelerators and develop new polymer compounds for a variety of applications.
  • Conduct research, experimentation, and analysis on new and existing materials.
  • Perform analytical and physical testing of rubber products and interpret results.
  • Provide technical support to production, quality control, and sales teams.
