Account Manager

Locations: Birmingham - Hybrid

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our client, a vibrant and successful nutrition and lifestyle brand within the FMCG industry.

This role is a hybrid role and will require you to be based in their South Birmingham offices 3 days per week.

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with two of the largest grocery retailers. With your strong negotiation skills, experience in account management, and an analytical strategic mindset, you will play an integral part in driving business growth and creating stories through data to deliver results.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and develop key accounts within the Grocery sectors
  • Build strong relationships with dedicated clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop account strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Extract and analyse EPOS Data Management to focus sales and create brand stories
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the FMCG industry
  • Experience of Account Management into Large Grocery Clients preferred, experience in convenience channel also welcome
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

If successful you can expect a salary of £50,000 to £55,000, depending on the experience you can bring to the table.
