An established UK business, specialising in premium commercial building product interiors with a focus on innovation and sustainable design, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the East and West Midlands. This role offers the chance to represent a forward-thinking brand and develop your own patch, building meaningful relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and specialist contractors.
• Achieve sales from project opportunities and ensure successful delivery.
• Progress projects from specification stage through to sale.
• Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and site inspections.
• Maintain CRM records and support strategic planning for your territory.
• Build long-term partnerships with multiple stakeholders across projects.
We are looking for a commercially minded, proactive construction / building products field sales individual who enjoys managing projects from start to finish. You will need excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, and the confidence to build strong, long-term partnerships. Experience in project-based sales or commercial interiors such as insulation, drylining, acoustics, wallcoverings, ceilings or flooring is highly advantageous.
The company offers a competitive salary of £45,000–£55,000, with potential for more depending on experience, plus bonus and a monthly car allowance. You’ll also receive 5 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays, pension and healthcare.
