Territory Sales Manager – Industrial Markets (Midlands Region)

A market-leading international manufacturer of specialist industrial products is seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Manager to join their growing UK team. With a reputation for innovation, technical excellence and customer-focused solutions, this organisation is committed to empowering its people and developing long-term client partnerships.

Location: Birmingham, (Midlands patch)

The Role

You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth across an established territory — managing existing customers while proactively targeting and winning new business within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow revenue within an existing client base.
  • Identify, secure and onboard new customers across the territory.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, offering consultative product solutions to key decision-makers.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and lead the full sales cycle.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, competitor activity and market insight.
  • Deliver professional presentations and proposals, tailoring solutions to client needs.

About You

We’re looking for a driven, commercially astute sales professional with a successful track record in technical field sales (industrial/manufacturing environment).

Ideally you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in solution-based B2B sales and business development.
  • Ability to understand technical products/applications and translate them into client value.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with resilience and tenacity to win new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
  • IT literacy and comfort preparing proposals and client-facing presentations.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing or process industries (product training provided).
